Cold!

It is cold!!!!! We have a fire in the wood burner to help with the chill. It was 3 below this morning. My trip to the market was slow yesterday...lots of ice on the roads and this is only the beginning. There was lots of finder benders on the freeway. Today they seem to understand that there is black ice on the roads. We have had some warmer winters the last few years here in Nampa, but I am thinking this will not be one of them. Baxter or cat has decided that the last thing he wants to do is go outside. Mattie Anne is our snow dog, she loves to get her nose into the snow. Now then there is LB, he goes out does what he must and right back in, he does not like all that white cold stuff that covers the ground. It's like this...what have you done to my yard? fix it!!! Today I am off to Body Works....no not to get my body fixed, although it needs a left! I am going to buy all that fun stuff girls just love, lotion, lip gloss, things that smell really good. I will be careful, and you all do the same. Have a great day....Hugs, Mary

Burrr does sound very cold there. It's 41 degees here and we call this cold. I took a brisk walk at noon and enjoyed the cold in my face. My heart warmed my body and I am too warm now back at my office.
Our cat doesnt' mind the cold HERE either...
I like your little Christmas Tree card.

Sometimes I miss the snow but not enough to wish I was back in Illinois. It has dipped down almost to freezing here at night but for the most part it gets up in the 60's in the day time. If it ever snows here honey will be wanting to move farther south.
Have fun shopping.

Be careful out on the roads and stay warm. We got down to about 25ยบ last night but the sun is shining today and it's beautiful.

My kitties both stay inside all the time. Spoiled is what it's called!

Hey sweetie!!! You'd better be careful driving around on those roads! I'm sure you're a pro and oh-so-safe though....I'm sure it's cozy inside your home dear friend, it looks BEAUTIFUL to me...but I know it must be a pain too ~ hugs and love, Dawn

Oh, do be careful if you must drive in the snow. I used to drive in it all the time when I lived in New York, but I don't think I would want to be doing now that I'm a little older. I know how dangerous it can be. Hubby hit a patch of black ice a few years ago, when we lived in Pennsylvania, and he totaled a new SUV. Thank God, he wasn't hurt, but now I don't even drive in the rain! Keep warm!
