Your life is such a mixture of bitter/sweet happenings.<br />Thank you for your eloquent writing of them all...I appreciate being let in.<br /><br />I was a young bride very pregnant living in Israel at the time Kennedy was shot. We were sitting in the commual dining room listening to a trio of musicians playing classical music, when Mr. Wasserman came up behind us and whispered in my ear that "Your President has been shot". I felt stunned, but we stayed and listened to the whole concert. We did not experience the days of mourning you did in the states. We did not have TV to watch what was happening or I the newspapers to keep up with the news/mood of the day. For me it just happened quickly and was over.
