Jenny my daughter and I decided that we needed to change the colors in my kitchen and craft room. I have been thinking about red for awhile now and I was feeling brave....so I picked a color that I use a lot in crafting...took it to Lowe's and off we went. My kitchen was a deep leaf green, so everything looks really different. I will send more pictures when I have finished and got everything back where it belongs.

Looking from my kitchen into the craft
room.... the craft room goes out the back
door. This room has been many things.
I am sure it was a mud room and laundry
room back in the day. This Cottage farm
house was built in 1906, so anything is
possible.

OOOHHHH,
Love this banner too! Do you make your own???
You ARE brave! We lived in a house with Polar White walls for-ever, then when we moved whe got some color that was already here - dark green living room and green tones in the dining room. How delightful!
I love color but I am a chicken!
Hi Mary,
I love a RED room!!!My kitchen has been red for many years now. When I first did it, my mom told me I'd hate it shortly after....nope...I still love it. It is warm and cozy and a great accent color. Be sure to show the finished room!
I Love the red. I use to have a red kitchen in my old house.
Nice to have fun time painting with your daughter too!
