New Year Thoughts

Baxter spent allot of time on the library table today watching me take down some of our decorations. I don't know if he was glad that everything had been taken of the table or sad. All I know is he was staying in that spot....so I had to stop and take a picture of our little friend. I noticed that my walls look pink....they are really baby almost white peach...so important to share that...OMG! I have seen a few blogs where the idea is to pick a word for what you might apply for the new year....Hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ....change....I know President O has already used this word, but it is very easy to get stuck in the same old things day after day. It is comfortable, even predictable, and I need to think out of the box...this will be hard. I will make a list of things I need to change...I will share the list.
I want to take this time to thank you all for taking time out of your busy life to spend time with me. I am blessed to have found such a wonderful place to share some of my craft and so many things that come into our life. It has been a interesting year....with elections, I thought would never end! Watching the people we trusted take so much from us, gas prices, food prices, and jobs going away. In one way or another we are all affected....but we are going to come out of this, I believe we have learned and will continue to learn more about ourselves and each other. The human spirit is well! I think that blogging is a gift, that we share so many things and understand that we are all creative, loving people that have come together to give and receive support in away that nothing else can do. With a click we open windows to things we would never have seen. Know people we would never have known. I can sit here in my PJ's or dressed up for whatever the day brings, and it doesn't matter. I can have bed head or just finished grooming, it doesn't matter....you come! Sometimes I have glitter all over me, glue on my figures, paint, glass, beads....and wonderful paper, it's all good. You are there. With all this said, I call you friend and if you let me, I will continue to come into your life, I love your stories, your art, and your cute little click!

Looking forward to many hours of happy creating!!! And the fun of sharing same!
