Saturday was family day...we watched our Grandson play baseball. This was the season play off and Summit's team won...and then to my son Cory home to give him his Birthday gift...it was a very good day. For those that will recall, I made Alexis a Journal...she shared with me her first page..I can't put into words what this meant to this Ole Grandma....I love that she put all the different colored flowers...she is so special...I love that at 8 she can express herself like this....Grandma Love.... click to enlarge..

Now that's a heart melter!
You are Loved!
What a wonderful letter. What joys to have a beautiful granddaughter named Alexis! :}
Alexis is taking after her Grandma and is going to be an avid journalist too. What a precious thing for the two of you share.
I am sure that Corey liked his gift as well- you put a lot of love into it.
Congrats to Summit and his team- and to his proud Mama and Papa too!
Love You and Miss You-
Sara

Oh that is so cute...
There is nothing like a granddaughter!!! My graddanghter and I both worked in the same art journal last year, trading it back and forth whenever we saw each other...which wasn't often.
I love the flowers and how Alexis says that she misses you!
What a precious keepsake this will be. Good for Alexis and wonderful for you!
