Jam Done

It's all done, there are 11 pints and 4 half pints not counting what we have already ate!!!!Tee-Hee! This was fun and they are really nice to look at....If you could smell my house...yummmie!
I started out this morning freezing peas from the garden....then Bell Peppers and Chili peppers. And a little later when it cools down a little outside, I will finish my Apricot Jam. I have all my Jars & lids boiled....I am looking forward to some treats made from this Jam during our long cold winter. And I will give some to my kids and their family. Arney reminded me this morning that I will be one busy gal when the Tomato's are ready....Salsa time! Wish you were here, we could have some tea and bis quits with Jam.

Yard sales

My thought is that someone decided they didn't want to use this art stuff, and they made it all to the yard sale. There was three QVC boxes filled with unopened supplies. I paid a dollar for each box...nothing has been used. There was 3 boxes. Brushes, paints, all kinds of things. I still haven't opened any of it. There are even movies showing how to do different things. I have been going on Fridays before my lunch group meets....we don't have yard sales year round.

Apricot Lane

I started making Jam this summer eve....tomorrow I will continue....I had some hot Jam on vanilla ice cream...yummmmmmmmmmm!

Grandpa and Summit picking just the right ones. Some things in life are more special than words can say....

Yesterday was Apricot picking day. This is our Orchard that we will soon be re-planting. We have no idea how old all the tree's are or were, we had to cut 8 tree's down because they had grown to old. Jenny (my daughter) and Summit picked a lot of this beautiful large fruit. Our birds are enjoying the fruit also. One the ground you had to be careful not to step on the fallen fruit.

Tonight when it cools off some I will be making Jam. Jenny is making sauce out of hers. Summit had so much fun. We had a wonderful day. He could hardly wait to show his Dad.
