The Tea Party

To see better click on pictures to enlarge....

The pictures aren't very good. It is finished, and I hope everyone had a special time, the best part for me was working with Dear friends, hearing the laughter, the thoughtful helping hands. The love of a church family that I have known sense 1982. Hearing the kitchen helpers as they were making a lovely dinner for all the special Mothers~Daughters, Grandmothers, Aunts and old friends. The spirit of the ladies that did this 79 years ago was surely with us. This yearly dinner started in 1930, in a time of hardship for many. It must have been a Joy filled evening. Nampa First Christian Church was dedicated in 1906. There are many Generations here. I am but a speck on the history of this church. I am Blessed!

I had no idea you were planning for such a LARGE group! How many came? It is lovely! Simply wonderful. Thanks for sharing and bless you for all that hard work. The little dressed up bears are just precious too.

We only have about 35 ladies in our church, it also is a very old church and a few of the ladies have been in it for over 60 years.
You sure did a beautiful job of decorating. Hope everyone had a wonderful time. BE BLESSED :-)

This looks like a lovely event, and all of your hard work looks very much worth the time and efforts that you made to make it special.

I hope that your fellows are doing ok today. I know that it can be stressful when our loved ones aren't well. I wish them both the best and you too, Mary. Take good care of yourself, too.
