Good Morning sun!

This is what we woke to this morning. About 2 inches of snow and very cold. The trees are all frosted and the roads are black ice. So winter is not over here in parts of Idaho….my part!!DSCN1096

DSCN1088 I put together 4 inch squares into a 9 patch, then put the 9 patches together. DSCN1086 Then I put the batting between the flowers and the squares . So it is is now ready to stitch together. It will take a while because I do hand stitching, but it is on it’s way to being a quilt. Do you have a quilt story. I know Cat makes quilts. I will be watching the snow melt today as I continue the quilt. But there is more snow coming. DSCN1089

Sorry you have snow. Ours is starting to melt and promises of warm temps. The quilt is coming along great!

You have snow and our almond trees are blossoming! It's a good day for you to stay inside where it's nice and warm and just relax and work on that beautiful quilt.

Hi Mary,
I don't have a quilt story, but I love the way yours is turning out. The weather here is finally bringing thoughts of spring, but I know the weather you have today in Idaho will be the weather we have a day or two from now in Michigan. UGH!

Hugs,
Susan

This will be a lovely quilt to be sure! My latest (today) #9/2011 art journal quilt can be seen on face book or The Art Quilt Blog, or mine tomorrow! ;-) Made with tea bags...my art can be very different! ;-)))

A snowy day is a perfect day to quilt - inside where it is nice and warm!

You sure are making great progress on the quilt. I can't wait to see with it looks like finished. I can tell it's going to be absolutely adorable though.

Like Janet said you have snow and we have daffodils and big pink blossom trees and camellias and the tree leaves are just barely budding forth. Sure a definite difference
