Arney and Finn doing the happy dance…DSCN2552

We have all our clothes in the Laundry room…Remodeling can be a fun thing if you stop and do a happy Dance now and then.

It’s Sunday…a good time to kick up your feet if you still have the energy.

I'm doing Sunday catch up here! I love that picket fence bed, I think it has your name on it. The foot board is cute too, maybe you'll reconsider??? Or will that make it hard to make the bed?
Or do you bother? I'm on again, off again with mine.

How much will that closet hold and will only the dog be able to reach the things in the back? don't bump your head!

Looks like everything is coming along nicely. Nice to have a handy guy like your Arney!

Now I am going to do my Happy Dance!

Hugs, Lynn

My Sunday was good right up until I fell! Today HB is doing more in my studio...almost finished.

I agree, stopping to dance is a great idea.

Hello, Mary
Thank you for stopping by my blog. We too are remodeling the upstairs in our Laurelwood house, and the closet configuration is similar to what you are doing, with a slanted portion, although the door(s) will be normal doors as there are two bedrooms sharing a space for two small closets. The door on one of the bedrooms with be a slanted door as it follows the upstairs slanted roof line. I should take photos of it and post the process on my blog too.
It is a lot of work for the laboring men including my husband, my brother, my oldest son, and a couple of other amazing men in construction.
Have a great rest of the week!
I haven't made any dolls for a while myself but hope to get a topsy-turvy doll finished for Art Doll Quarterly Sept. 15th deadline.

Hello Mary, First of all thank you for visiting my blog. Isn't remodeling fun? I love it, just finished painting our bedroom. My husband, Rick, had a stroke, 12 years ago and cannot do anything. I have learned to do many things that I never did before. Like the picket fence bed, very cute and different. Love all your family pictures, you have a lovely family, what would we do without them. We have one son, two daughters and 5 grandchildren.
Hope to talk to you again soon. Blessings...Lu
