Yard Sell Jar's

My daughter Jenny and I did some shopping yesterday and along the way we stopped at a few yard sales. I really like old jar's. So when I found these for a dollar each, I was one happy girl. I use jar's in my pantry...but the size of these were just perfect for the kitchen counter. So I washed them and made my own labels, so now they are neatly arranged where I really need them. It was a fun project. I have larger jar's and smaller...these rang my bell. I want to thank you for your comments on the cheese...we will not soon forget this.

These are way awesome! I love jars, too...and ones from the thrift store or yard sales are even more precious. Nice score!

Great idea and recycling. I seem to remember those types of jars containing peanut butter, when I was a kid.

Love the jars...I would love to have flour as one, as I dont keep flour, it would mean I am finally starting to do more cooking...I wonder if thats weird to some poeple the fact I have no floour in the kitchen, its just that I dont have a call for it, but it always looks like there is a real cook in the kitchen if I see it...xxx...Julia

What a bargain! I love jars, too and usually but them for food storage. I once found a bunch of the 1/2 gal. size Mason jars at a thrift store for 99 cents a piece! I bought them all and still use them.

Great find! I'm lucky to have a walk in pantry so I'm always on the lookout for fabulous jars. I decided to put everything in jars that I could after opening a box of biscuit mix one summer day and discovering little creatures were having themselves a feast. YUCK! One another, much prettier, note...if you like lovely old farmhouses, stop by my blog to see one I discovered this weekend.

Hi sweet Mary!!! I just LOVE jars and these were a wonderful find girl...I love using them in my studio and for artwork! I love your previous post too Mary, I can SO relate...I shove things in places to keep them safe and they're safe alright, I can't even remember where they are!!! Have a wonderful week sweet friend, hugs and love, Dawn

Oh, these are a great find Mary. I love that shape of jar too, and I like how you are using them for your pantry. I'm switching over to storing in glass too. A little bit at a time.
