Were you a Hippie Chick?

Hippie 001I loved the dresses, and the bell bottoms, but I wasn’t a Hippie Chick/flower child. I loved the music, still do. I missed it, the whole thing. I understood the desire for peace, and the not really wanting to work or go to war, but I was a Sadie, married Lady. We did talk about joining the Peace Core ones…..

What were you doing in the 1960’s, early 70’s ??

I had 3 children between 1968 and 1972…I was busy.

California Dream-in….This is a Journal page….

Oh- You and I were just alike. I loved the music and the "feel" of the times but I never did drugs or followed the free spirit path. It was a wonderful, innocent time in my life- and I was a young mother, too...first child born in 1969. Blessings to you...or, as they say...Peace Out, Man! xo Diana

I remember those days but I never considered myself a hippie. I did wear bell bottoms though and yes, the music was the best. Flower child - not me.
