Our News here continues to be…Snow

4186220839_72e22ccb39_z

We have another storm coming in tonight, so along with the white stuff we have ice on the roads all night and in the early morning. The snow plow just covered my mailbox again. Today I stayed home and walked for awhile out in the snow. So refreshing, but cold. I took a warm bath and here I am sharing with you.

I haven’t done anything to creative unless you count making chicken and dumplings for dinner tonight. It smells so good, Arney will love it when he comes home from work.

We keep a towel next to the door for Finley, he is so little that he comes in looking like a snowball.

Stay warm,

Hi Shopgirl, Could you put a wee coat on the little girl on your header, she looks so cold.:):) I bet your man is gonna love you for making him a hearty meal. I walked up and down our drive today for some exercise. I like when my face is cold from the air. Our snow is melting and rain is on it's way. I pray we have no flooding. Stay safe and get a hug from your husband. xox,Susie

More snow! We don't have a lot of snow left but it is cold and very windy here today. It is supposed to get into the 30's for the next few days. I wish it were Spring- xo Diana

Chicken and dumplings...yum! The photo of the snow is beautiful but I'm glad it isn't outside my door. Today was partly cloudy but fairly warm. I went shopping with just a sweater and got too warm.

I am reading your story.
My name is Mary Ellen.
I want you to know it reads so well.I have not read anything so interesting since I read Dolly vPartons book.
Please consider putting this
into a hardback ,so people can buy it.I would keep mine on the book shelf close,so I could read it over again.

What a gorgeous photo this is Mary.
I am such a California gal, I cannot imagine living in snow country...could not handle the snow or hassle of living in it. But do appreciate the beauty of it!
YOU stay warm!!!! Oh, and bon appetite!

After that storm dumps snow on you, it is headed out way. We expect it tonight and tomorrow. I am not going anywhere, going to hibernate inside and try to make homemade chili.
